Misspellings of Solar

The word "solar" is commonly misspelled as solr, solir, soler, or solor.  Why?  Because in the USA it is usually pronounced differently than it is spelled.

For example, solr, solir, soler and solor are all phonetically closer to the common pronounciation of the word than solar itself.

As a native speaker, I empathize for those who try to learn our language with all of it's idiosyncracies.
